Marga Matas | YourLawyerinPalma.com

I studied for my law degree at the University of the Balearic Islands and completed my studies in 1992. During the following four years I had the opportunity to practise as a foreign intern in various offices in London, in the City, where I had the opportunity to learn a legal system very different to ours, another way of working, and another mentality. It also allowed me to perfect the language and acquire an international network of contacts.
My office has never been comparable in size to those major offices in the City, but it is very comparable in terms of the quality of service provided, and how I work closely with my clients. I have always strived to offer comprehensive advice, trying to simplify the complicated and looking for solutions that are as efficient and time saving as possible. You could call it ‘creating’ a tailor-made solution that is adapted to the client and the circumstances of the case itself.

Solving conflicts using creativity is a challenge I enjoy.
I mostly work with cases related to property law, family law and business law. My clients are both Spanish and English speaking.
I am a keen sailor and this means I have come into contact with many professionals in the industry; I do not rule out devoting myself to this legal area as well at this point in my life.
